# Discovery scripts (one-off, archived)

Read-only Firestore scripts used **once** to find the values now hard-coded in
[`../race_real.py`](../race_real.py) for the GSYS "Test före Sommarcupen" demo race.
They are kept for reference / for setting up a future race, but are **not** part of
the normal export path. All need GCP ADC.

- `discover.py` — list GSYS instances, their course, and start-group gun times.
- `scan_movement.py` — rank instances by actual boat movement (to find a real race).
- `discover_teamrace.py` — list teams → boats → device and each device's point count in the window.
- `probe_spans.py` — actual track time spans per boat, to align the window.
- `export_race_demo.py` — earlier single-race exporter, superseded by `../export_team_race.py`.
