# runtime dependency: neither the producer image nor a render needs it, and the review tooling that
# uses it is an offline authoring path. But `test_review_ingest.py` imports it at module scope, so a
# missing one is a hard COLLECTION error rather than a skip — two tests that fail with
# `ModuleNotFoundError` and say nothing about the code.

# Found 2026-08-18 while gating a merge to main: the suite reported two failures that looked like a
# regression in the change under test and were neither. With CI off, the suite IS the gate, and a
# gate that fails for reasons unrelated to the diff is how people learn to push past red.
